Health & Wellbeing
The results from your Health & Wellbeing Genetic Test are complied into your unique Genetic Profile Report – essentially, your own personal user manual.
The report clearly displays your genetic strengths and weaknesses in a range of genes that play a key role in general health and wellbeing.
This allows you to remove any guess work when it comes to what you need for optimal health and enables you to follow personalised information that is unique to your genetic make-up.
What genes are tested?
your natural defence system that plays a pivotal role in immunity, cardiovascular health, gut health & digestion, ageing and weight management.
your ability to detox and create antioxidants and aids in the metabolism of caffeine, alcohol, medications, and hormones.
your ability to absorb vitamin D from sunlight and food to protect your bones, support your immune system and lower your risk of cardiovascular disease.
Methylation and Homocysteine
your ability to create and manage hormones essential for mental health and wellbeing, sleep and circadian rhythm, and reproductive and sex hormones, such as oestrogen and testosterone.
your ability to deliver oxygen and nutrients to every cell, essential for the health of your heart, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels.
your ability to maintain a healthy weight, and its influence on appetite control, satiety, and blood sugar regulation.
Genetic Testing is for you if:
✓ You’re wanting to feel empowered to live a life in optimal health and continue to do so as you age.
✓ You’re ready to get rid of the guesswork, one-size-fits-all approaches and fad diets for an approach that is personalised and tailored to your genes.
✓ You’re interested in what predispositions you may have to developing health conditions, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or autoimmune conditions.
✓ You’re keen to know which foods would best support your energy levels and weight.
✓ You’re wanting to know which types of exercise would suit you best or you’re keen on improving your physical performance and recovery time.
What clients are saying..
I highly recommend Aubrey to anyone interested in finding out the impact their genes have on their health. Aubreys detailed follow up gave me the right advice on supplements I may benefit from, and the food and exercise that suits my body. The genetic assessment takes away the guess work and Aubrey was able to present the information in a way that was personal to me. She has a lovely manner that made me feel instantly comfortable and confident in her knowledge.
Aubrey has helped me understand my body’s response to stress through addressing genetic challenges with supplements, diet and exercise. I now wake up with energy that is sustained throughout the day and feel less inflamed and achy. Aubrey is an exceptional practitioner and I have no hesitation in recommending her to people who want to experience optimal health.
Aubrey is so easy to deal with, everything is set out clearly and any questions are quickly answered. Aubrey knows her stuff and does well to put everything in terms that are easy to understand. She is punctual and always follows through with what she promises and commits to. She is accomodating and made the whole process easy – even being in different countries was not an issue! We highly recommend Aubrey and all she has to offer. It is refreshing to see someone not afraid to challenge parts of the current health industry.

How genetic testing works
How do I get genetic testing done?
Book a Health Activation call with Aubrey – this call is a chance to explore your health goals, discuss your health history and find out exactly how genetic testing will benefit you.
Following your Health Activation call, Aubrey will send a genetic test kit your way and all the information you need to get started on your personalised health journey.
How often do I need to test my genes?
Your DNA never changes, so you only need to do the test once for a lifetime of change.
How long does it take to receive my results?
Your results will be returned approximately 4 weeks after the laboratory receives your sample. I will contact you as soon as I receive your results to schedule a time to discuss them with you.
How will I receive my results?
Your results are presented in a Genetic Profile Report which will be emailed to you before your consultation so you can reference them throughout the session. All consultations are held virtually through Zoom (or phone call if you prefer) so we can connect whenever and wherever suits you.
How is this genetic testing for health different from other genetic tests on the market?
It is personalised to you. Instead of receiving underwhelming and generic suggestions that have been compiled by an algorithm, you will be provided with personalised strategies that are based on your health goals.
I have tested my genes with 23&me or Ancestry, can you interpret these results?
Yes, the raw data from your 23&me or Ancestry report can be sent to the laboratory and interpreted. Please contact Aubrey here for more details.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored with Australian based genetic testing company, Fitgenes.
Fitgenes uses electronic data protection mechanisms that are more secure than banks, utilising best-practice methods such as firewalls, encryption and intrusion monitoring. Multiple physical security methods, such as locking devices and 24-hour premises monitoring, are also employed.
Fitgenes Australia Limited & Aubrey Nation will not reveal your identity or share your data without your written consent. Your reports and genetic data will be treated as your property and will never be disclosed or shared with third parties, including your insurance company or employer.
